Amazing and accurate! Ww absolutely love it, had to get a second one!

Really cool piece of equipment bought this for my wife and she has already used it many times. It is scary how accurate this is.

During the very first investigation where I used this device, it read aloud the exact same word I heard in real time and had captured on my digital recorder. As someone who is clairaudient, I've been a part of thousands of investigations, and I have never had a piece of equipment validate what I heard in real time before using this device.

I actually never got to use a Ovilus when I was investigating before. So when I got back into it, this was one the things at the top of my list to get. I enjoy having it. Now, it's the newest piece of equipment to my set up, so I haven't experimented with all the features yet, but, I will say that when it's spot on, its awesome!

Used it for the first time last weekend at a local cemetery. We got some great results. It took us to a location with Lots of activity. Only one suggestion. It would be nice to have a 1/4-20 threaded insert in the bottom. That way you could attach it to a tripod or attach a lanyard.

Fast shipping and including the case,etc. The case is well worth getting if you don't have it. Anyway will be trying out the Ovilus later on this month in Virginia City. So far have used it once with good results. Came to one graveside and the Ovilus said JON. Exactly what the name was on the tombstone. It also said ALONE..Interesting if true as he was buried with multiple wife's and children. Perhaps he never went on.

Great piece of equipment. I believe the Ovilus is the epitome of all ghost hunting equipment. It is pricey but worth the investment if you’re serious about investigating the paranormal.

Love this item. Have not used it on an investigation yet but used it in my home and got some great responses. Once I use it on an investigation I'll post more but it was definitely a great purchase.

We have only had this for a little over a week and already love it. Used it on an Investigation with CAPS (Charlotte Area Paranormal Society) right after we received it and the learning curve was quick with all of us. Everyone enjoyed it and it even came up with an Indian word which made since as we were on Catawba Indian tribe lands. So glad I splurged :)

Hot pink for the win! Love the color! Had the opportunity to try her out for the first time this weekend and she was awesome. Had her upstairs stationary in a location for over an hour with nothing coming through- went to the basement and put her in the corner where people had been chained to the wall and she was going wild with words and when asked direct questions she answered with words like “trapped”, and the name of the owner of the house. We pulled out other devices (EMF detector, EDI) to see if it could be affected by just other stuff in the area and there was nothing. Pulled out a second Ovilus (not hot pink) and put it several feet away from mine and the two Oviluses took turns responding. From behind us on the other side of the basement we heard movement and the trail cam we set up back there went off and we captured a misty figure where people claim to see a shadow figure and after whatever that was showed up- both Oviluses went quiet and nothing came through the rest of the evening. So some very interesting stuff!

Most of us investigate in the dark, with everything being on the back lit screen and simple layout. You can just turn it on and use it. I've used it at the Miners cabin at the Gold Hill Hotel and Nevada State Prison and it's been able to make better sense of the sounds and activity we have experienced there.

We have used it outside in our courtyard of our apartment building. Across the way from our apartment our neighbor has a Ouji Board welcome mat and it gets a lot of action at night. Not from people that are alive - and it's causing a lot of trouble in our apartment. Bay Leaves, spells and prayers aside - we now know who's haunting us - Thank you Ovilus 5!

Be sure to let it settle to the environment after turning it on...that's some advice I can give so your not getting false readings. This thing is a good tool for paranormal ghost hunting. I've used it a lot now and can say yes it's legit.

The ov5 is a tool that i use regularly, this tool is not only essential but great for research! If your thinking about making this purchase, don't procrastinate, this is a tool that i can say as i have purchased many knock off's in the name of research and to debunk, this tool sets the bar, holds the bar, and not another compares! So happy that Bill Chappell has come aboard with Ghoststop to revive the Ovilus 5. There is a lot of technology packed into such a small box. It has 7 different features, allowing you to practically do a whole investigation with this one device. Yes it is expensive but worth the cost. I noticed that response seem more accurate when the Ovilus is placed somewhere stationary. If you hold it and walk around with it, the motion creates false positives . Thank you to the Ghoststop customer service people who assisted me.

This little device works amazing. I had an investigation at the famous Oman house by the Sharon Tate murders and this was spot on when asking questions.. and so accurate that i asked how many people are in the room and it said 11 and we counted and yes there was exactly 11 people in the room

I recently Investigated Sweet Springs Sanitarium, I used the Ovilus 5 and was surprised by its accuracy, 5 minutes into the basement near the Slave Quarters, the Ovilus 5 Belted out the word “Slaves”.

Love this device. It does so much more than just spit out words. So helpful in an investigation

I took it out a couple of times and I like it so far. I took it to the graveyard and visited my grandparents grave. It said candle then I looked down and saw that my grandmothers bday was the next day. I noticed that it works better when you set it down. If you hold it you get more words so I think affects the results.

Very interesting device. I took it out to a place where i walk the dog , there is a memorial there for a lady who had her ashes scattered nearby. The yes/no energy was constantly rising to the ' increase' or ' yes ' indicator. The energy setting which i believe is emf detection was also showing a rise in the wave form. The dictionary mode gave some interesting responses too. I also had a spell of activity in my home last night about 1 am when i was watching TV. The temperature definitely dropped as i was lying on the sofa so selected the energy setting and the emf detection waves/ distortion were evident. The dictionary mode then said ' Grandma' ' and 'Watch', It stayed around and after a while i noticed a definite shift back to a 'warmer' room temperature.

The Ovilus 5 delivers pretty spot-on results. Or at least on the few investigations we've done. We're really liking it and will be considering another unit or two to add to our team so we can spread out our during our investigations.

Havnt had chance to use it for investigation yet. But, it looks excellent, easy to use. Looks and feels very high quality.

Our group finally got to use it this past weekend, at a favorite cemetery. Our results were right on point.

Received mine in late August. Shipping was very fast! Had a chance to test it out in my favorite old cemetery. Got some responses like "casket, cement, and got the number 9 right after I asked how many spirits were with me". I also love the true or false (yes or no), and vibration feature. Both got good responses. Still haven't tested out the other functions but I plan on it soon.

I love my new Ovilus 5. I have been waiting for 5 years to purchase one and believe me, it has been everything I hoped it would be. The very first time I turned it on n, my husband took a picture of it so I could send it to friends. Immediately after he took it, a succession of words came up including CAMERA. We have spirits in our home and they have been busy talking through the Ovilus since it came. Don’t hesitate to buy. It is well worth the money.

This device is absolutely amazing, it immediately started showing us that it is actually communicating with something and not just randomly saying words. It will say what is happening around it randomly during sessions as if it was providing proof it's an entity talking with us. It started saying the name of my partners grandmother who had passed away and said the Latin word for drainage then joke just before we had a washer leak during a cycle (it hadn't done this before or since.). This device also told me to walk slower just as I tripped and almost fell in a reportedly haunted cemetery. I'm convinced it is legit and am very happy to have gotten one before they sold out.

This is really an amazing gadget . Love all the functions and how it captures any movement, voice sound for Evps and foot steps I believe it's for . I'm very happy with it and look forward to future uses
