Having the ability to use full spectrum is awesome. Especially with a camcorder. This camcorder does exactly what it's meant to do. I have this plus the 60LED UV Phantom Light & the new IR light. I took this baby on a recent investigation and to my surprise I actually caught a full bodied apparition on film!! I couldn't be any more pleased then that. It's lite weight and very easy to operate. Shawn is great with customer service and reliability. I'm a customer for life.

Good camera i was blown away how far i could see with the right illuminators.The only reason i gave it a 4 is because when your walking and filming it can get a little shakey its not the greatest camera if your use to a sony but it gets the job done. Very tiny camera I was expecting it too be be bigger. Can film for a long time dont be worried. All in all though not a bad buy.

this hd cam is awesome. in daylight you see differing shades of pink depending on how much sunlight comes through, but in energy-saving light you can see just about normal. it brings a tiny white light that can help close up in a dark room but I'd recommend using one or all of the Phantom lights (and bracket). I would also recommend a tripod if you want to leave it somewhere for a while. The battery lasts a long time but it also takes a long time to charge completely (290 minutes; 4 hours 50 minutes). And it seems that it wont sty charged using any wires, at least i haven't figured it out yet. it does come with hdmi, usb, vga, etc... but not a specific power cable nor a firewire port. All in all, it's nice, compact, great quality, great features, lightweight, and fun. get the phantom lights (at least the ir light), you won't regret it!
