I own three of these units. They work pretty well, easy to carry. The file format is standard AVI format. They use standard SD cards. Mine all have 8GB cards. The IR lights are limited in distance, but with an added Sima IR illuminator the images are very good (considering the image size (640x 480pxl). I use mine on all my investigations mostly as handheld. Sometimes at static. Using the camera with the internal IR illuminators does drain the batteries fast, but seems to last about an hour. Adding the Sima extends the camera battery life by almost double as the internal LEDs don't need to be on.

is the mini nightvision camcorder.Great for those impromptu investigations where time and moving lots of bulky equiptment would hinder an oppurtunity to investigate.Been able to capture numerous EVPs and orbs with this little jewel. Thanks GhostStop

This is a great little gadget if you want to do some ghost hunting in smaller areas. Download the software that's provided and the video looks much better on the computer than when played back on the recorder itself. It's very easy to operate and the compact size is also worth noting. However, I give a grade 'D' to the audio.

A like this little camera. It really switches over to night mode with good quality. It takes a little practice to get used to it, but it gives good results. I intend to use it for what it was made for, an on the spot investigator. It was not intended for long investigations. In my job, I often come across old home sites to which this camera will be very useful for quick investigations. It easily fits in your pocket for quick access. A neat little device for a good price. Brian
